The founding of Oliver Gibson Annual Global Gospel Musical Convention (OGAGGMC) INC. is a culmination of an enormous collective effort that began in late 2021 when we lost our brother Minister Oliver Gibson to the cold hands of death whom this convention has memorized. It was during his passing that, many of us musicians understood that our gathering should not only be for burial alone but rather come together once a year to share our worship experience in songs and fellowship. At Oliver’s funeral in Staten Island, we met with some of our friends we had not seen for years and we all in principle agreed to make some sense of our fallen brother’s situation, the discussion was met with consensus. Our countless efforts today have led to the organization of this convention.
